It has now been demonstrated that treating both members of a couple carries a greater success rate of drug abstinence as well as promoting a more satisfying social situation at home. At ODI, we have always believed that treating the whole family is the key in the treatment of addiction, getting everyone involved. At the outset, we evaluate the patient (addict) and his/her spouse/significant other and recommend a plan for both of them. After our procedure, we follow up with both to guide them through the initial phase of recovery and set them on their way to a new healthy life together.
